When Michael and I got married, I found my wedding photographer on Yelp! GASP!!! But in 2010 when we were wedding planning, that is just what you did. The experience, or lack thereof, was not a good one. And guess what, I associate the way I felt in the pictures with how I feel looking at them now. I see a couple who is uncomfortable!

We didn’t know our photographer very well, and he did not take the time to get to know us. So when I decided that I wanted to capture weddings, I knew that my couples had to have an experience that would leave them feeling loved and served from the first meeting to well beyond their wedding day.

Each one feeling like they are my one and only couple because I take time to really get to know their story, in order to be able to capture it for them to tell their grandchildren one day while flipping through their wedding portraits. Your wedding photography should be uniquely you! And you should find someone who gets to know your story so well that they represent you full heartedly through your portraits!

I believe full heartedly that the engagement session is one of the most important parts of prepping for your wedding photography. I can not wait to get you in front of my camera, and to help you feel so comfortable and confident for your wedding day! I encourage all of my couples to make it a date night. Get dressed up, get your hair and makeup professionally done, and make dinner reservations for after.. Let me know if you need dinner recommendations! We are going to have so much fun!

Two months prior to your wedding date I’ll check to make sure your wedding questionnaire that I email over is complete. We will make sure all of the details are finalized. We review the day-of timeline, your family portrait list and any other little details I need to know before the big day!
